Eternal Capital, led by Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl, launched its first VC fund with a target of Rs 120 crore and an option for an additional Rs 120 crore, making it a total capacity of Rs 240 crore.

They received approval from Sebi for a Category-I AIF in November 2023 and have commitments from well-known operators and entrepreneurs like Suhail Sameer, Deep Kalra and Tarun Mathur, among others.

The fund aims to invest in 40 startups over the next three years, focusing on solutions for the future. It was founded by Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl in October 2023 and has an operator-led investment team, prioritising investments in startups led by experienced operators.

Eternal Capital differentiates itself by leveraging the social and intellectual capital of its investor base and aims to advise and guide its portfolio companies on various topics to accelerate their growth.

Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl emphasised the fund’s operator-first approach and how they have discounted the typical VC fee structure. Their goal is to simplify and encourage participation in India’s growing startup ecosystem.
