Edtech company PhysicsWallah has laid off 120-150 employees, according to media reports. PhysicsWallah, founded in 2016 by Alakh Pandey and later joined by Prateek Maheshwari, offers online and offline courses, as well as study materials for various competitive exams such as JEE, NEET and other engineering entrance exams.

The company, based in Noida, raised USD 100 million in Series A funding in 2022 at a valuation of USD 1.1 billion.
