
Care, a beauty brand rooted in science and efficacy, has recently secured Rs 20 crore in its inaugural round of institutional funding from Unilever Ventures, the venture and growth capital arm of Unilever.
The company said that it is well-positioned to consolidate its presence in the domestic market and venture into international markets, capitalising on the increasing demand for transparent and scientifically-backed skincare and haircare products, both online and offline.
With a current annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs 85 crore, WishCare has experienced remarkable growth, expanding fourfold in the past year, while maintaining a strong double-digit EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation).
