Fibmold, a startup focused on sustainable packaging, has bagged USD 10 million in a funding round led by Omnivore and Accel.

Fibmold, based in Mumbai, was founded in October 2022 by Param Gandhi and Vaibhav Garg. The company is focused on developing environmentally friendly packaging made from natural fibers such as bamboo, bagasse, husk, wheat straw, and waste paper. These packaging products are designed to replace single-use plastics and are 100 per cent recyclable and naturally compostable, according to a company statement.
