
Yatra, the online travel firm, recorded a modest 2.74 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended 30 June, 2023. The company’s net profit reached Rs 5.99 crore during this period, compared to Rs 5.83 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Yatra Online disclosed these figures through a regulatory filing.
During the quarter, the company recorded consolidated revenue from operations amounting to Rs 110.17 crore, demonstrating a growth from Rs 88.96 crore in the corresponding period last year. However, Yatra Online also observed a rise in total expenses, which stood at Rs 105.3 crore in the current fiscal quarter, as opposed to Rs 85.06 crore in the previous year’s quarter.
Dhruv Shringi, Yatra Online Whole Time Director and CEO, highlighted a significant increase of 41.5 per cent in air passengers booked, the highest since the pre-covid era. Furthermore, Yatra Online secured 19 new corporate customer accounts in the corporate travel sector during the quarter, with an estimated annual billing potential of Rs 151 crore.
