
The funding for new-age technology startups in India saw a decrease of almost 38 per cent compared to the same period last year. Only USD 86.5 million was invested in nine rounds in the first week of October. However, there was a slight increase of 8 per cent from the previous week’s USD 80 million investment across 22 rounds.
Top fundings of the week
Last week, several startups secured significant funding rounds. Bizongo, a B2B vendor-digitisation platform, raised USD 50 million from Schroder Adveq. Charging infrastructure firm Bolt Earth raised USD 20 million, while user engagement platform Aampe secured USD 7.5 million. Fintech startup DPDzero received USD 3.2 million in funding, and conversational support platform ClearFeed raised USD 2.7 million. Additionally, Induced, an AI startup, raised USD 2.3 million with support from Sam Altman and Peak XV Partners.
