
Ecommerce startup Magicpin has partnered with National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India ( NCCF) and Open Network For Digital Commerce (ONDC) to sell groceries at subsidised prices.
Initially, the service will be rolled out in Delhi and Gurgaon.
The partnership will enable Magicpin to reshuffle changes that includes setting up the catalogue, pricing, margin allocation, delivery communication, formulation of order return policies and non-delivery protocols with other buyer applications. It will also provide assistance to third party logistics in order dispatch and handling.
Speaking on this development, Magicpin said that, We are committed to ONDC’s mission to democratise the ecommerce system.
As the collaboration kicks on, Magicpin has started the sale of chana dal at Rs 120 per kilo gram and Onions at Rs 50 per 2 kilo gram, facilitating delivery in more than 100 pincodes in Delhi.
The company plans to expand its services to ten more cities in India. The rollout will be done in phases to promote ecommerce and digital platforms. For deliveries, orders placed before 3 pm will be delivered within 24 hours, while orders placed after 3 pm will be delivered the day after tomorrow.
