
Luxury streetwear brand Drip Project has raised undisclosed funds from Blume Founders Fund on Friday. The investment round also saw participation by other investors such as StrongerHer Venture Partner and Preeti Sawant, Founder and CEO, JoulesToWatts.
The Mumbai-based startup said in statement that it will utilise the funding to expand its product portfolio from 500 to over 1000 products.
After the funding, founders Harsh Maskara and Anil Shetty said, the funding will help us to evolve our brand in the streetwear jewellery segment of India.
The company was acquired in 2022 by Anil-Shetty owned Metaman for USD 1 million. Metaman in the last funding round raised USD 1 million from investors such as Zerodha CEO Nikhil Kamath, Actor Sunil Shetty, Cricketer KL Rahul and Robin Uthappa and Book My Show Founder Ashish Hemarajani among others.
