
Venture capital firm Unicorn Ventures India has invested Rs 4 crore in Bhubaneswar-based climate tech startup Aurassure in seed round.
Commenting on the development Co-founder and CEO of Aurassure, Akanksha Priyadarshini said, “The company believes in bolstering communities with local data to build resilience against climate change. Our aim is also to offer decision support systems and environmental consultancy services to governments and institutions in making sustainable choices.”
In the recent past, the company launched Aurassure Care, a smart air quality monitoring device for indoors that could be connected with BMS and other devices.
Expressing his thoughts on the investment, Bikram Mahajan, Partner at Unicorn India, said, “Aurasurre’s ambition of leveraging AI, machine learning and data points from multiple devices to provide accurate insights, stands out in the current time of sudden climate change.”
On the sales front, Aurassure is planning to deploy over 1000 devices in 8 cities across the country. Besides, it is also aiming to further its steps in Southeast Asia and Africa, and subsequently, into Europe and the United States.
