
Byju’s India appointed Arjun Mohan as the new CEO of the company. The development arrived at a time when the company’s former CEO Mrinal Mohit has stepped down from the position of CEO. Although, Mohit’s new roles has not been clear yet but it is stated that he is moving ahead with personal endeavours.
Notably, Arjun Mohan was part of the founding team and had served as the Chief Business Officer, rejoined the company recently. He spent the last three months working closely with the founder and group CEO Byju Raveendran. He has also played a major role in expansion of UpGrad.
Expressing his thoughts on Arjun’s takeover as CEO, Byju Raveendran stated that Arjun’s comeback to Byju’s speaks of his his belief in our mission and the unparalleled opportunities that stays ahead. His expertise will leverage our position in global markets and increase our sales turnout, he added.
Mohan said that Byju Raveendran’s dedication to education and its implementation through innovative practices sparked a lifelong interest to learn from him.
