Probiotic startup Good Bug raised USD 3.5 million from Fireside Ventures in Series A Funding. The fresh investment from the firm will be used for the development of additional gut healthy products, sales expansion and recruiting new hires as well as undertaking new market initiatives.

The company backed by Think9 Consumer Technologies has so far managed to serve 2 Lakh customers, it said in a statement.

The company aims to generate revenue of Rs 500 crore to Rs 600 crore in the next four to five years. Despite staying focussed on its market presence and expanding its product lineup, the company has plans to venture into Middle East, Australia and US markets, according to the statement.
