On Friday, Kinara Capital has committed to provide loans worth Rs 575 crore this fiscal year to MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) based in Karnataka.
The company has recently opened three branches in Haveri, Humnabad and Ramnagara- cities located in Karnataka. It has spread its geographical presence to over 28 branches and 658 pincodes. Moreover, the company aims to hire 300 employees in the state.
So far, Kinara Capital claims of having disbursed over 1089 crores to sanction 20,717 business loans in Karnataka. The company claimed that it has led to creation of 21,437 new jobs on MSME sector.
Speaking on the development COO, Kinara Capital, Thiru K, said “We remain committed to disburse over Rs 575 crores in FY24 to MSMEs. The loan would lead to the creation of 6,000 new jobs in local economies.”
Previously, the company has also taken the initiative of empowering women entrepreneurs under its program HerVikas. According to the company, so far it has disbursed funds worth Rs 87 crore to women led businesses.
