Indorama Ventures Public Invests $150mn In Three PET Recycling Plants

Indorama Ventures, a company based in Bangkok and majority-owned by Indian investors, is investing USD 150 million in three PET recycling plants in India. It plans to start commercial production in 2026.

The recycled PET from these plants will complement their current PET production for the Indian and export markets. PET is a durable material that can be recycled multiple times. Indorama Ventures aims to increase the use of recycled PET, aligning with global efforts to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, according to the company.

Indorama Ventures is a global chemical company with operations in 35 countries, specializing in PET and recycled PET, as well as mobility fibers for the auto industry.
