Cybersecurity Startup PingSafe Raises $3.3mn In Seed Round From PeakXV, Others

PingSafe, a cybersecurity startup raises USD 3.3 million in seed funding. The round was led by Sequoia Capital India & Southeast Asia’s (now known as Peak XV Partners) Surge with participation from prominent angel investors and Tanglin Ventures.

Angel investors include Rahul Chari (Co-Founder and CTO, PhonePe), Neeraj Arora (ex-CBO, WhatsApp), Pratyus Patnaik (Senior Director, Engineering, Okta), Vivek Ramachandran (Founder, SquareX), Gaurav Agarwal (Co-Founder and CTO, Tata 1mg) and Saurya Prakash (Co-Founder, Recko) PingSafe is a cloud security platform founded by career hackers and senior engineers Anand Prakash and Nishant Mittal. PingSafe is the one-stop shop for all cloud security-related organisational needs.

PingSafe is a cloud security platform that bridges the gap between attackers’ modus operandi and security solutions currently on the market. By aggregating intelligence via Cloud APIs and logs, PingSafe utilises its graph database to generate a normalized architecture of the cloud real estate of a client. “With the cloud security market evolving from point solutions towards context-aware platforms, PingSafe’s CNAPP platform is the next evolution in providing more comprehensive cloud security to organisations,” said Anand Prakash, Founder and CEO, PingSafe.
