Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) announced the start of construction on a new entertainment destination in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The new project, with a development value of $266 million, is expected to transform the region’s entertainment landscape.
According to Gulf Business, the new destination will span 72,500 square metres and will include a 4,000 square metre family entertainment centre, an e-karting arena, a 10-lane futuristic bowling zone, a 12-hole indoor adventure golf course, and a 10-screen cinema, among other things.
The design will be handled by Gensler, and the project will be built by Saudi-owned Al Bawani. SEVEN is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia. It is currently investing in 21 entertainment venues throughout Saudi Arabia.
SEVEN announced a partnership with global companies such as Warner Bros., Discover, Clip ‘n Climb, Mattel, Play Doh, and Hasbro in December 2022 to develop entertainment destinations in 14 cities across the country.
According to Statista, the Saudi entertainment market will grow by 8.81 per cent to $453.80 million by 2026.
