Myelin Foundry, a Bengaluru-based deeptech startup, has raised $3 million in an early-stage funding round led by Detroit-based automotive supplier Visteon Corporation. Returning investors Endiya Partners, Beyond Next Ventures and Pratithi Investment Trust also participated in the round.

Founded by ex-CTO of Tata Sons group Gopichand Katragadda and ex-Tata Group employees Ganesh Suryanarayanan and Aditi Olemann in 2019, Myelin builds artificial intelligence algorithms based on video, voice and sensor data for Edge devices.

The algorithms provide visual experiences and personalised outcomes for various industries, including media and entertainment, healthcare and manufacturing.

Previously, Myelin had raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Japan-based Beyond Next Ventures.
