Eggoz, an egg-focused consumer brand, has raised $8.8 million in Series B funding led by Mumbai-based IvyCap Ventures, according to a statement.
In addition to angel investors such as Vishesh Khurana of Shiprocket, Ankit Mehrotra, Sahil Jain, Nikhil Bakshi, Vivek Kapoor of Dineout, Khalid Qazi of Swiggy, and others, existing investors Nabventures, Avaana Capital, and Rebright Partners participated in the round.
Eggoz stated that the funding will be used to expand its business footprint by increasing market expansion, investing in the supply chain, bringing on additional talent, and growing its community.
Founded by Abhishek Negi, Uttam Kumar, Aditya Singh and Pankaj Pandey, Eggoz, operated by Eggroz Farmz, procures fresh and chemical-free eggs from farmers to deliver it to consumers through omni-channel within 24 hours, through its fully-integrated model to the end consumer.
Prior to this round, the startup’s funding round had raised fund in December 2021, led by Nabventures.
