Gynocup, a flagship product of Mild Cares which deals with feminine hygiene products, has recently announced raising an undisclosed funding from Meet The Drapers, a startup investing platform based out of USA which invests in innovative startups globally.
Gynocup was created with a primary goal of positively impacting the lives of all women. In India alone 400 million women face issues emanating from these and this is largely a huge number when it comes to women facing these same issues worldwide.
Meet The Drapers is a global platform for innovative startups across the world to share their ideas and help resolve a pressing issue in return for funding to scale up via the platform. The panel is jointly chaired by Bill Draper, Tim Draper, Polly Draper of the Draper family and a judge who is invited to judge along with them.
Sandeep Vyas, Co-founder and CEO- Mild Cares, said, “Our efforts in building the product and taking it to the global market has received an added momentum with recognition and support from Meet The Drapers. Since its launch in 2020, the product has crossed the mark of $ 20,000 in sales. The company is looking to touch Rs 100 crore revenue by 2025-26.”
Gynocup menstruation cups are made of 100 per cent medical-grade silicon, which is chemical-free, environmentally safe, and FDA approved (and certified). In addition, the cup is latex-free, BPA-free, dioxin-free, and phthalate-free, reducing the risk of infection and rashes. The product can be safely re-used multiple times making it environment friendly and cost effective.
