HireQuotient, a Singapore-based company that automates HR interviews for businesses, announced on Thursday that it had raised an additional undisclosed amount of funding in a round led by Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal.
The current round follows the pre-seed round, which took place in December 2021. Sumant Sinha of ReNew Power, Mohan Lakhamraju of Great Learning, Sujeet Kumar of Udaan, and Kunal Shah of Cred all contributed $1.8 million to the venture.
Over the last year, the company’s team has grown to more than 30 members, with more than 15 coming from top global schools and management consulting firms such as Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), Boston Consulting Group, and Bain & Company.
HireQuotient has also made appointments to senior sales and marketing positions. HireQuotient claims to be on track to double its revenues within the next two quarters, citing the company’s rapid expansion and new offerings.

Eugene Goh and Smarthveer Sidana co-founded HireQuotient with the goal of disrupting the hiring process for business roles globally. Sidana, an IIT Delhi alumnus, worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), whereas Goh began his career in the Singapore civil service before joining BCG for eight and a half years. Following his time at BCG, Eugene worked with a number of HR tech startups and served as an adviser to a number of startups and accelerators. He holds a Masters of Science in Development Economics from the University of Oxford.
