HiNirog HealthTech, which operates the healthcare platform NirogStreet, which provides access to Ayurvedic doctors, has raised $12 million (roughly Rs 98.4 crore) in a Series B round from early-stage venture fund Jungle Ventures.
The round also included existing backers Spiral Ventures, an ICMG Partners-managed fund, DoorDash’s Gokul Rajaram, and Japanese bank SMBC’s co-head for Asia Pacific Rajeev Kannan, as well as Anthony Weldon’s family office as a new investor.
NirogStreet, based in New Delhi, plans to use the new funds to expand its supply chain, technology, and service offerings.
Kumar founded the company in June 2016 to provide a platform for Ayurvedic doctors. Its services include integrated doctor-led prescription ecommerce enablement, peer-to-peer learning for Ayurvedic doctors, digital health record management, and smart clinics.
