Content experience platform Contentstack announced that it has secured $80 million in a Series C funding round. Existing investors Insight Partners and Toronto-based Georgian Partners led the latest round.
Furthermore, the round also saw participation from Illuminate Ventures.The Mumbai-based company said that it plans to use these funds for accelerating operations and hiring across cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, and Vijayawada.
So far, it has bagged $169 million. Following the latest fund-raise, the two existing investors who also participated in the latest round increased their investment in Contentstack ahead of a Series B capital raise in June 2021.The firm raised about $57.5 million from the two players in the previous fund raise. Moreover, in October 2019, it raised $31.5 million in a Series A round led by Insight Partners.
The firm is all set to onboard Georgia’s lead investor, Walsh, to its board.Contentstack was founded in 2015 by Patel. Its client base includes Chase, Express, Mattel, McDonald’s, Mitsubishi, Holiday Inn, Icelandair, Riot Games, Sephora, and Shell, among others. The firm also claims that it has reported growth of over 150 percent since its Series A fundraising in October 2019. The firm helps navigate brand storytelling. Its claims are to help automate and streamline activities across technologies and vendors in real-time.
