GSV Ventures Leads $45 M Series E Round In Simplilearn Solutions

Professional certification provider Simplilearn Solution has bagged $45 million in series E funding round led by GSV Ventures. Investors including Cla Insurance, and DisruptAD, ADQ’s venture platform also participated in the latest funding round. No investor made exit in the latest round.

In July 2021, Global private equity firm (PE) Blackstone picked up controlling stake in the company and invested about $250 million. Backstone’s funding gave existing investors an opportunity to exit from the firm.Founded in 2010 by Kumar, Simplilearn is based in San Francisco, California, and Bangalore offers access to work-ready training to individuals and businesses across the world.

Speaking on this round of funding, Krishna Kumar, Founder and CEO Simplilearn, said, “The Blackstone investment last year came at an ideal time to boost our growth globally, and further strengthen our customer-centric approach. Today, we are excited to partner with GSV Ventures, along with a strong set of co-investors in Clal Insurance and DisruptAD.”
