Beenext Leads Seed Round In Gaming Marketplace Driffle

Beenext led a $3.4 million (roughly Rs 27.8 crore) seed round for Driffle, a digital gaming marketplace.

Jafco Asia, Taurus Ventures, Better Capital, White Venture Capital, and renowned angel investors such as Kunal Shah, Maninder Gulati, Amit Damani, Archana Priyadarshani, and Arun Venkatachalam also participated in the round.
Driffle was founded in 2021 by Chetan Bhardwaj, Gaurav Kumar Jha, Mayank Chawla, and Abhishek Kumar with the goal of making online gaming accessible, affordable, and safer for gamers worldwide. For gamers, the platform sells games, digital gift cards, and gaming points.

Driffle, which has operations in India, the United States, and the United Kingdom, is looking to expand its team in Gurugram by hiring more people in product, engineering, marketing, and customer support. The funds will be used to hire new employees, strengthen its technology infrastructure, and develop new products.

Driffle, which is based in Delaware and Bengaluru, is currently available in over 100 countries throughout Southeast Asia and Europe and accepts over 100 different currencies.

The Indian gaming industry is on track to raise $513 million by the end of the fiscal year. According to gaming-focused venture firm Lumikai’s report, State of India Gaming FY22, the sector has seen a funding increase of 380 per cent from 2019 and 23 per cent from 2020.
