Baring Leads USD 9.2M Series A Round For BluSapphire Technologies

BluSapphire Technologies, the parent company of cybersecurity startup BluSapphire, has raised $9.2 million (approximately Rs 75.6 crore) in Series A funding led by Baring Private Equity India. Dallas Venture Capital, Binny Bansal-backed xto10x, RPG Ventures, and Merisis Venture Partners also participated in the round. ValueBridge Capital was the sole advisor for this transaction.

Kiran Vangaveti, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, BluSapphire, said, “We will use the fresh funds to build and scale up its software-as-a-service platform across India and North America.”

BluSapphire, founded in 2014 by Vangaveti, assists clients in preventing sophisticated cyberattacks across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid work environments. Its clients include small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in industries such as healthcare and finance.

According to its official website, the full-stack AI and analytics platform has also partnered with firms such as Ernst and Young, Hexaware, Tech Mahindra, Coforge, Birlasoft, and Larsen and Toubro Infotech as a managed security service provider.
