Lotus Herbal Invests In Better Beauty

Indian cosmetics company Lotus Herbals invested $2,00,000 in Better Beauty, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) firm founded by TV actress Anita Hassanandani.

Better Beauty will use the funds for brand marketing, research and development (R&D), and expanding its offline presence. The company also plans to use the extra funds to hire new employees, improve its product line, and make acquisitions.

“Better Beauty- is a luxurious, sustainable and honestly crafted skincare brand on a mission to deliver clean and conscious beauty products,” said Nitin Passi, Chairman and Managing Director, Lotus Herbals.

Better Beauty stated that it hopes to expand its product portfolio to ten in a year and generate INR 7.2 crore in annual revenue. Vanity Wagon, an online marketplace, and the company’s website sell products.

According to Better Beauty, over 10,000 clients have received product deliveries thus far. The company also plans to enter international markets and create a proprietary product line based on cutting-edge cell technology used in the skincare industry.
