Moksha of Bessemer Venture, Prateek Poddar of Nexus Ventures, Chirag Gupta of 8x Ventures, Tej Kapoor of Ivy Cap Ventures and investors from more than 20 reputed Indian companies provided investments to the selected startups

The sixth edition of the two-day TiE Smash Up 2022, organised by TiE Rajasthan, concluded in Jaipur on Thursday during which 48 startups of the country got investors. In this edition of Smash Up, there was a direct dialogue between the 48 selected startups and well-known Indian angel investor companies.

Moksha of Bessemer Venture, Prateek Poddar of Nexus Ventures, Chirag Gupta of 8x Ventures, Tej Kapoor of Ivy Cap Ventures and investors from more than 20 reputed Indian companies provided investments to the selected startups.

Ravi Modani, the President of TiE Rajasthan, said that TiE has provided these startups with a platform through Smash Up where both the startups as well as their investors can share their needs, ideas and projects. Modani believes that to a large extent, the event was successful in its objective.

Sanjay Yadav, Convener of TiE Smash Up, says that the TiE acted as a bridge between the investor and the startup by giving the latter an opportunity to have more than a thousand pitch meetings with different investors, which is a record in itself.

During the two-day-long event, the best three startups were given the Investors’ Choice Award and one startup received the Popular Choice Award.

On the concluding day of the event, several successful startups of the country presented their success stories in front of the budding ones in order to motivate them towards bravely facing the challenges ahead with the attitude of always moving forward.
