Sailesh Ramakrishnan is a Partner at Rocketship.vc. Rocketship.vc, headquartered in Silicon Valley, is an early stage venture capital firm. The company uses data science and machine learning (ML) for investment related decision making. Rocketship.vc has invested in companies such as Splitwise, Triller, Apna, Khatabook, Hive, Jugnoo, Kangaroo Health, No Broker, RageOn, Wasabi, Yulu and more, spread across 14 countries. 

Rocketship uses smart algorithms to trace startups around the globe, assisted by a series of metrics, to indicate the possibility of their success. 

Sailesh was the co-founder of LocBox (acquired by Square), a startup centred around marketing for local firms. He previously worked with Kosmix (acquired by Walmart) and was a computer scientist at NASA Ames Research Centre.
