A pioneer entrepreneur and philanthropist in India over the last four decades, Ronnie Screwvala recently released a report on “Non-Linear Thinking” acknowledging issues related to the shift “from the cost arbitrage model introduced and scaled most notably by the IT services sector towards more creative, innovative, and inventive sectors”. Since 1981, Ronnie Screwvala has scaled and successfully established several ventures in the country, which includes him holding his position as the Founder of UTV Group (Now Walt Disney India), Founder Trustee of Swades Foundation, Founder of Unilazer Ventures, Board of Advisor AIESEC India, Founder of RSVP Movies, as well as the Co-founder and MD of edtech company upGrad.
